Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pizza Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in food service with a focus on pizza but it is not something we require. This role requires willingness to learn the Papa Johns way of pizza, adherence to food safety standards, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment. If you have experience in food or even if not we would like to talk to you! This position is a evening closing position that will require you to be able to close the store multiple evenings a week (4-5). The shift starts anywhere from 3pm-4pm and we close at 11pm on week nights and midnight on the weekends. If you are not available during those time frames please no need to apply. We are looking for someone who wants to work and shows up to shifts on time and does not call in unless its absolutely necessary. Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences. Ensure all ingredients are fresh and of high quality, adhering to food handling guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items. Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food safety and quality standards are met. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Follow all health and safety regulations related to food preparation and handling. Qualifications • Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
