Deli Associate Job Description:

PAY IS BASED ON EXPERIENCE!

Duties:

• Prepare and serve deli products to customers
• Slice, weigh, and package meats and cheeses according to customer requests
• Assist customers with their deli orders and provide excellent customer service
• Maintain a clean and organized deli area, including sanitizing surfaces and equipment
• Follow food safety guidelines and maintain proper hygiene practices in the kitchen

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a deli or food service environment is preferred but not required
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and portion sizes
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with customers in a friendly manner
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 15 pounds)
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
