Weekend Cook-3 meals SAT and SUN

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Cook. As a Cook, you will prepare and serve homestyle meals to our 40 unit assisted living facility. This position requires excellent food handling skills, menu planning abilities, and a passion for providing exceptional quality meals in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals in accordance with dietary guidelines
• Collaborate with other cooks and management to plan menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our clients
• Ensure proper food storage, handling, and sanitation practices are followed
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of food supplies
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
• Serve delicious homestyle meals in a timely manner at 8, 12 and 5.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in catering, culinary, or food service roles is preferred
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required Please note that all positions at our organization are paid, including internship positions.
