Provides care and cooks in a manner that meets or exceeds expectations. Job Responsibilities Prepares all food according to the menu in a safe, sanitary manner under the direction of the dining services coordinator/manager Maintaining kitchen sanitation and safety standards under the direction of the Dining Services Coordinator Prepares and cooks meals for residents within an assisted living community as well as maintains standards of kitchen cleanliness Follows departmental procedures including sanitation, safety, and cleaning schedules Report any concerns with the health and well-being to the Resident Care Coordinator , Administrator, or Nurse Maintain and protect the confidentiality of resident information at all times. Meet or exceed, the standards of appearance; comply with the sanitation rules, hygiene and health standards of community personnel Serve meals in a fine and gracious manner, ensuring the dignity and nutritional needs of the residents Cooks meal according to the dietician approved menus Perform other reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisor Job Qualifications Have the ability to effectively communicate with residents, families, supervisors, and associates.
