Job Description

LINE COOK
Prep and cook food items at a designated kitchen station (grill, sauté, fry and others) according to recipes and quality standards. Assemble, plate and garnish dishes to presentation guidelines. Ensure timely service by coordinating w/other line cooks and staff. Measure and assemble ingredients, perform prep work such as chopping, washing, portioning and marinating. Maintain food safety and sanitation standards following company policy & local regs. Monitor cook times, temps and portion to ensure food safety and consistency. Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Follow instructions from chefs. Assist in inventory control and setup for station. Requires at least 12 mos exp. $18.75/hr ($39,000/yr).
