LINE COOK - DOWNTOWN ASHEVILLE
Palmar Latin Kitchen is looking for an experienced, reliable, and hospitality-driven Line Cook to join our growing culinary team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a chef-driven restaurant focused on South American cuisine, seasonal ingredients, and creating memorable dining experiences. We are looking for individuals who take pride in their craft, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are passionate about great food and teamwork. Compensation $20-$25 per hour, based on experience Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, marinating, and plating Maintain high standards of food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all dishes Work efficiently during busy service periods while collaborating with the kitchen team Follow proper food handling procedures and kitchen safety guidelines Contribute to a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment Qualifications Previous line cook experience required Experience in a high-volume, fine dining, or chef-driven kitchen preferred Strong knife skills and food preparation techniques Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards Ability to work evenings and weekends Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic Passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences
