Full Job Description Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our team. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Your culinary expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the overall success of our restaurant.Duties:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices
- Cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and portion sizes
- Ensure food is cooked to the appropriate temperature and presentation standards
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Clean and maintain work areas, utensils, and equipment
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient operations
- Follow proper food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with menu planning and recipe development as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience in the food industry as a Line Cook or similar role
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and best practices
- Familiarity with dietary requirements and restrictions
- Understanding of food safety procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
