Job Description

Childcare Center Cook Kidz Are Fun Child Development Center — Charlotte, NC Kidz Are Fun Child Development Center is hiring a dependable and team-oriented Cook to help provide nutritious meals and snacks for the children in our care. We are looking for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean kitchen, preparing healthy meals, and supporting a positive childcare environment.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve meals and snacks for children Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines Maintain a clean and organized kitchen Assist with food inventory and meal planning Receive and store food deliveries properly Deliver food to classrooms as needed Assist with classroom coverage during staff breaks when needed
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years or older High school diploma or GED Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team Ability to lift and carry food supplies
Preferred:
Kitchen or food preparation experience Knowledge of nutrition and food safety
Requirements Before Employment:
Criminal Record Check Qualifying Letter Adult & Pediatric CPR/First Aid Certification TB Test and Physical Exam Schedule:
30-35 hours per week
