In this vital role, you will support kitchen operations through meal preparation, food handling, cooking, and maintaining the highest standards of food quality and safety. Your culinary skills will help create fresh, flavorful meals while contributing to a positive and fast-paced restaurant environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your culinary skills, work alongside a supportive team, and play an important role in delivering an outstanding dining experience to every guest. Key Responsibilities Assist with menu preparation and daily food production while maintaining consistency and quality standards Prepare ingredients and cook menu items using proper cooking techniques and food handling procedures Maintain clean and organized kitchen stations throughout each shift Follow all food safety, sanitation, and storage procedures to ensure compliance with health standards Support kitchen operations during busy service periods while maintaining efficiency and attention to detail Assist with prep work, portioning, stocking, and kitchen closing duties Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely ticket completion Help maintain inventory organization and communicate product needs to management Contribute to a positive team atmosphere focused on hospitality, professionalism, and consistency Support catering, brunch, or special event preparation as needed Qualifications & Skills Previous cooking or kitchen experience preferred in a restaurant, café, or food service environment Strong understanding of food preparation, cooking methods, and kitchen safety procedures Knowledge of proper knife skills and food handling best practices Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards Strong attention to detail in food presentation, cleanliness, and organization Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to stand for extended periods and lift kitchen supplies as needed Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays if required What We Offer Supportive and team-oriented work environment Opportunity for growth and skill development Fast-paced and rewarding kitchen atmosphere Employee meal perks The chance to be part of a team passionate about great food and hospitality Join us and bring your culinary passion to a team committed to serving high-quality food and creating memorable guest experiences every day.
