Duties Prepare, cook, and plate menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards Assist in menu planning by providing input on dish preparation and ingredient selection Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation throughout all kitchen activities Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and portioning to minimize waste Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food efficiently and accurately Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and smooth kitchen operations Keep workstations clean, organized, and stocked with necessary ingredients and supplies Requirements Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service environments such as restaurants or catering is highly preferred Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures Experience working in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is a plus Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining attention to detail Excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and servers Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed Embark on a culinary journey where your skills are valued, your creativity is celebrated, and every dish you craft brings joy to our guests!
