Cook Needed Food Truck Kitchen Serving Hotel Guests & Public (Newland)

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Cook to join our team at a busy hospitality property in Newland, NC. Our on-site food truck kitchen serves both hotel guests and the general public, focusing on quality meals with great presentation at a fair value - Burgers, Wings, Chicken Sandwiches, wraps etc... This is not a fast-food job — we take pride in serving dishes that are fresh, flavorful, and consistently prepared to a high standard. You'll be working in a small but efficient food truck kitchen with a steady flow of customers from both our resort and the local community.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook menu items to order Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation Keep kitchen area clean, organized, and compliant with health/safety guidelines Assist with food prep, stocking, and inventory as needed Work efficiently during peak service hours

Qualifications:

Previous cooking experience required (restaurant, catering, or food truck) Ability to work independently in a small kitchen environment Knowledge of food safety practices Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude
