Job Description

Overview Join our culinary team as a Line Cook, where your passion for food and dedication to excellence will shine! As a Line Cook, you will be the backbone of our kitchen, preparing delicious dishes that gets our guests coming back for more. Your culinary expertise will contribute to creating memorable dining experiences for our guests, ensuring every plate served meets our standards of quality and presentation. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive environment that values teamwork and innovation. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items with attention to detail and consistency Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation guidelines Prepare food ingredients so they are ready to be used for cooking/assembly (ex. chopping celery, cutting fruit, portioning fries, etc.) Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts and when work shift is over Work well with team members to ensure timely service and smooth kitchen operations Assist with catering events preparation and cooking as needed Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a willingness to learn is highly valued Serv Safe certification is preferred but not required. Proficiency in food preparation and cooking will support success in this role Knowledge of food safety and proper food handling practices is essential Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail (the kitchen can at times be very busy) A passion for cooking is key Embark on your culinary journey with us!
