Job Description
We are seeking Line Cooks to join our team. The Red Fox features New Appalachian cuisine. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation and ensuring high-quality food service. Part time work available.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of meals according to recipes and portion sizes
- Follow proper food handling and safety guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth operations
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
- Adhere to all food safety regulations
- Support catering events as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or culinary environment is required.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and knife skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, and weekends
