Line Cook/Prep Cook Pine Valley Country Club - 3.2 Wilmington, NC Job Details Full-time $15 - $23 an hour 7 hours ago Qualifications Grilling Basic math In-person customer service Cutting Attention to detail Kitchen stations Communication with kitchen staff Full Job Description Pine Valley Country Club is seeking full and part time line cooks. The main duty is to prepare and cooking food in a specific station, clean up prep areas, stocking the prep areas, cleaning and washing dishes, all under the supervision of the head chef. Line Cook duties and responsibilities A Line Cook prepares food using recipes and menu items and helps keep the kitchen running smoothly. Some of their key duties and responsibilities include: Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations Preparing food, cleaning and cutting the ingredients and cooking main dishes, desserts, appetizers and snacks Plating prepared foods Work with expediter and servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time Washing and cleaning the kitchen, cooking utensils, and other equipment at the end of shifts Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations The job description includes, but is not limited to, the duties and responsibilities described above. - Must be efficient, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to take direction in order to complete tasks without the need for managerial follow-up.

- Must possess an outgoing, friendly and professional personality, be able to communicate clearly and be patient and courteous with members, guests, and co-workers.
- Ability to work weekends and some holidays, lift stock items or objects weighing more than 25 pounds and be on your feet for the majority of your workday.
