  • 22 per hour (based on experience, speed, and performance) Sugo Italian Steakhouse, Wilmington's #1 rated fine dining restaurant , is looking for a dependable, fast, and detail-oriented Prep Cook to join our culinary team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in organization, consistency, and helping set the kitchen up for success every day. What You'll Do Prepare vegetables, sauces, proteins, and other ingredients according to recipe standards Assist with daily kitchen prep lists and production goals Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation Properly label, date, and rotate products Assist line cooks and chefs with kitchen setup and breakdown Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures Work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail What We're Looking For Previous kitchen or prep experience preferred, but we will train the right person Ability to work quickly and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Strong work ethic and positive attitude Reliable transportation and excellent attendance Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds Team player who communicates well with others Schedule Requirements Must be available to work weekends and holidays Full-time and part-time opportunities available Compensation & Benefits $16
