Duties Prepare and assemble meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines, ensuring high-quality standards are met consistently Handle food with proper safety and sanitation procedures, maintaining cleanliness in all food preparation areas Participate in food handling activities including portioning, plating, and packaging for various meal services Collaborate with kitchen staff to execute cooking tasks such as chopping, mixing, baking, and grilling using appropriate knife skills and culinary techniques Contribute to catering events or special meal occasions by preparing specialty dishes and ensuring timely delivery Skills Proven experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide within healthcare or food service settings Strong background in menu planning, meal preparation, and food safety protocols Excellent cooking skills with knowledge of food handling standards and sanitation practices Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while demonstrating proper knife skills Experience in food industry roles such as restaurant work or catering services is highly desirable Knowledge of food service operations including serving techniques and customer interaction Familiarity with culinary techniques related to meal preparation, food presentation, and portion control Join us to bring your culinary expertise to life!
