In this energetic role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes with precision and passion, ensuring every plate meets our standards of excellence. Whether you're working behind the line or leading a team of cooks, your dedication to food preparation, safety, and presentation will elevate our restaurant's reputation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills in a fast-paced, fine dining environment while contributing to a vibrant team committed to excellence. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards, maintaining consistency and quality. Ensure all food handling and safety procedures are strictly followed to uphold health regulations and prevent contamination. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station, including proper knife skills and food prep areas. Support the team during busy service hours by efficiently managing meal preparation and plating. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth kitchen operations. Assist in training new team members on food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and restaurant standards. Experience Proven experience in food service, restaurant kitchens, or culinary environments with a focus on fine dining or catering. Prep food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces) Clean up station and take care of leftover food Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers Wash dishes as needed. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team under pressure. Attention to detail, and commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
