In this vital role, you will be instrumental in preparing delicious, high-quality dishes that delight our guests. Your energy and culinary skills will help create a vibrant kitchen environment focused on efficiency, safety, and exceptional service. Whether you're chopping vegetables, assembling plates, or assisting with meal prep, your contributions will be essential to delivering memorable dining experiences every day. Duties Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and standards Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation protocols Support the kitchen team during busy service times by ensuring timely meal preparation and plating Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and maintaining hygiene standards Assist with menu planning by providing input on ingredient availability and prep needs Support catering events and special functions with efficient meal assembly and serving assistance Qualifications Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within a restaurant or food industry setting Demonstrated knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen environments Experience with menu planning, food service operations, and catering is a plus Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform physically demanding tasks This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary expertise while working in a supportive team environment.
