In this energetic role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of delicious dishes that delight our guests. Your culinary expertise will contribute to creating memorable dining experiences in a fast-paced, vibrant environment. Responsibilities Prepare, cook, and plate menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly to maintain freshness and prevent contamination Assist with menu planning by suggesting new dishes or modifications based on customer feedback and seasonal ingredients Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment, utensils, and workstations Follow food safety regulations diligently, including proper knife skills, sanitation practices, and temperature controls Support catering orders and special event meal preparations with efficiency and attention to detail Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours and uphold high standards of food quality Experience Proven experience in a restaurant or food service environment, ideally within fine dining settings Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling procedures Familiarity with dietary department standards and dietary aide experience is a plus Demonstrated skills in menu planning, meal preparation, and food industry best practices Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking methods Prior kitchen experience that highlights your ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation protocols is essential Embark on a culinary journey where your skills make a real impact!
