Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes following chef's specifications and ensuring a smooth kitchen operation. Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, cutting, and measuring
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
- Monitor food stock and place orders when there are shortages Skills
- Experience in food service and meal preparation
- Knowledge of food safety principles
- Familiarity with fine dining practices
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail in menu planning and meal presentation
- Previous experience in a kitchen or dietary department is a plus
