Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve meals in accordance with planned menus and resident dietary needs. Ensure food is prepared and served at proper temperatures and in a sanitary manner. Assist with kitchen cleanup and dishwashing as needed. Follow all safety and infection control policies. Work collaboratively with dietary aides and other team members to ensure resident satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Previous cooking experience in healthcare, hospitality, or an institutional setting preferred. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards. Ability to follow recipes and portion control guidelines. Dependable, positive attitude, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. ServSafe certification a plus (or willing to obtain).
