Overview Join our dynamic team as a Cashier/Cook, where you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional food and service experiences. Duties Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling. Greet customers warmly, take orders efficiently, and upsell menu items to enhance sales opportunities. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen, dining area, and food prep zones following food safety regulations. Manage cash register transactions accurately, including cash handling, credit card processing, and balancing registers at shift end. Assist with food service duties such as bussing tables, stocking supplies, and ensuring quick turnaround times during busy hours. Support team members with food preparation tasks in the café or quick service environment to ensure timely service. Requirements Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or retail environments is preferred; culinary experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient sales processing. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks swiftly during peak hours. Knowledge of food handling procedures, sanitation practices, and basic math for cash transactions. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and ability to upsell menu items effectively. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced setting. Basic understanding of food safety standards and restaurant operations; experience working in quick service or fast food restaurants is advantageous. Pay:
$15.50 - $18.00 per hour
