Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. This role is essential in ensuring that our restaurant maintains high standards of food quality and safety while delivering an exceptional dining experience. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working with fresh ingredients, we want to hear from you. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in menu planning, including seasonal offerings and special events. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, assisting with ordering as needed. Participate in the training of new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety practices. Ensure all food is prepared to the highest quality standards, with attention to presentation. Qualifications Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential. Familiarity with fine dining standards and culinary techniques is a plus. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Experience with meal preparation, including knowledge of dietary needs, is beneficial. A passion for the food industry and commitment to delivering exceptional service. Running up and down the stairs, stocking beer/doing dishes if needed.
