This role focuses on preparing high-quality smash burgers, Philly cheesesteaks, and other menu items while maintaining speed, consistency, and great customer service. You'll work on a flat-top grill, follow build procedures, help with prep, and ensure every order meets Smash Bites standards.

10am-1pm | 4pm-8pm Duties Prepare and/ or cook smash burgers according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring each meal is flavorful and visually appealing Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, and prep stations Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area in compliance with health regulations Manage food prep stations, organize ingredients, and ensure timely completion of orders during peak hours Assist with food handling, portion control, and proper storage of ingredients to minimize waste Support cash handling duties at the POS (Point of Sale) system using Aloha POS or Micros POS platforms when needed Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, upselling menu items, and ensuring their satisfaction during their visit Requirements Proven experience in food preparation within a quick service or fast-food restaurant environment is preferred Strong understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude Previous restaurant or café experience is highly desirable; experience in the food industry or grocery store environments is beneficial Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work efficiently under pressure Join us as a Cashier or Smash Burger Cook and bring your culinary talents to life!
