Duties Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with consistency, flavor, and presentation in mind Follow standardized recipes and portion controls to maintain quality standards Assist in menu planning and ingredient selection to optimize freshness and flavor profiles Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and assembling dishes efficiently Monitor food quality during service, making adjustments as needed for optimal taste and appearance Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth kitchen operations Requirements Proven experience as a line cook Strong knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices Experience with meal preparation, food service, and catering operations Familiarity with dietary department procedures and dietary aide experience is a plus Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude This position offers an engaging work environment where your culinary talents can thrive.
