Line Cook

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team in a fast-paced, fine dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and cooking, with experience in the food industry, particularly in restaurant settings. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation, ensuring that every dish meets our high standards of quality and presentation. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas. Assist in menu planning, contributing ideas for new dishes and seasonal offerings. Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment. Participate in training new kitchen staff as required. Requirements Proven experience as a Line Cook in a fine dining or high-volume restaurant setting. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment. Familiarity with dietary department practices is a plus. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends. Passion for culinary arts and commitment to delivering exceptional food service.
