Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and energetic Kitchen Help to join our dynamic culinary team! In this vital role, you will support the daily operations of our kitchen by assisting with food preparation, ensuring food safety standards are met, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Responsibilities Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients according to recipes and menu requirements Support cooking activities by following established procedures and safety guidelines Handle food safely by practicing proper food handling, storage, and sanitation techniques Help with meal assembly and plating to ensure timely service during busy periods Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with health regulations Assist with food service tasks such as serving meals or refilling stations as needed Support catering events or special meal preparations when required Follow all safety protocols related to knife skills, food safety, and kitchen operations Skills Previous experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is preferred but not required Knowledge of menu planning and food preparation techniques Strong cooking skills with an understanding of food handling and safety standards Experience in food service environments such as restaurants or catering is advantageous Proficiency in using kitchen tools including knives with proper technique (knife skills) Ability to perform meal preparation efficiently while maintaining quality standards Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting kitchen operations Join our team to develop your culinary skills in a fast-paced environment where your contributions directly impact the satisfaction of our guests.
