Job Description
We're an expanding Jersey Shore restaurant & brewery looking for a dependable, hands-on Prep Cook / Line Cook to join our kitchen team. This position supports daily prep, line execution, food quality, and smooth service from setup through the final plate. What You'll Do Prepare ingredients, sauces, dressings, and menu items according to recipes and prep lists Work the line during service while maintaining quality, speed, and consistency Follow plating standards and portion guidelines Maintain food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards at all times Assist with receiving deliveries and proper food storage, labeling, and rotation Keep workstations organized, stocked, and ready for service Communicate clearly with kitchen team members, FOH, and management to keep service running efficiently What We're Looking For Previous kitchen experience preferred, especially in a high-volume restaurant Ability to work both prep and line positions as needed Strong understanding of food safety, cleanliness, and organization Reliable, professional, and able to work well as part of a team Able to stay calm and focused during busy service ServSafe certification preferred, or willingness to obtain Weekend availability is required Compensation & Perks Competitive hourly pay based on experience Growth opportunity with an expanding restaurant & brewery Supportive team environment Employee benefits available for qualifying full-time employees How to Apply Send your resume to miker@beachhausbeer.
