Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and dependable Line Cook to join the opening team of our new restaurant. This role is ideal for a culinary professional who takes pride in execution, consistency, and teamwork. As a Line Cook, you will play a key role in establishing our kitchen standards from day one, contributing to a high-quality dining experience for our guests. Comprehensive training will be provided on our menu, recipes, and kitchen procedures to ensure your success as part of our opening staff.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelinesParticipate in training on the restaurant s menu, cooking techniques, and service expectations as part of the new restaurant openingExecute food preparation tasks efficiently during service, including chopping, marinating, grilling, saut ing, and platingAdhere strictly to all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environmentMaintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, equipment, and storage areas throughout each shiftCollaborate with chefs and kitchen team members to ensure accurate, timely order executionAssist with prep work, inventory rotation, and proper storage of ingredientsSupport special events or catering services as needed, while maintaining quality and consistencyQualifications and ExperiencePrevious experience working in a professional kitchen environment preferred, though motivated candidates willing to learn are encouraged to applyWorking knowledge of basic cooking techniques, knife skills, and food preparation methodsUnderstanding of food safety regulations and sanitation standardsAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentStrong attention to detail, consistency, and qualityReliable, punctual, and able to follow direction while contributing positively to the kitchen cultureExperience in fine dining or upscale casual dining is a plus, but not requiredWhy Join UsThis is an exciting opportunity to be part of a restaurant opening and help shape kitchen operations from the ground up.
