Experienced Pizza Maker

Overview We are looking for a skilled and passionate Experienced Pizza Maker to anchor our kitchen. Unlike an entry-level role, this position requires a "Beast" behind the counter—someone who can manage a showcase of 15+ varieties, handle complex dough fermentation, and maintain quality during a heavy rush. You will be the technical lead for our pizza station, ensuring every pie meets our high standards for crust, bake, and presentation. Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications Hand-stretch and bake pizzas with precision in various ovens (wood-fired, deck, or stone) at a steady, high-energy pace. Handle food preparation tasks including dough stretching, topping placement, and ingredient portioning with skill and efficiency Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation throughout all kitchen activities Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and rotated according to health regulations Assist in menu planning by suggesting new pizza varieties and seasonal specials Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including ovens, mixers, and knives Serve pizzas promptly while maintaining quality presentation and customer satisfaction Maintain a spotless workstation and strictly adhere to HACCP and local food safety standards. Experience Minimum 3-5 years of professional pizza-making experience in a high-volume, scratch-kitchen environment Proven experience as a pizza maker or in a similar culinary role within the food industry Strong knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation standards Demonstrated expertise in food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly Experience with menu planning and creating appealing pizza options Background in fine dining or restaurant environments is highly desirable Skilled in knife handling, dough preparation, and ingredient management Previous dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus but not required Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Join us to bring your culinary talents to life!
