Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Dietary Cook to join our team, providing exceptional nutritional support and meal service within a vibrant healthcare environment. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring residents and patients receive nutritious, well-prepared meals while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming atmosphere. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help foster a positive experience for everyone you serve. Responsibilities Food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly in accordance with dietary guidelines and safety standards Serve meals to residents or patients with friendly, courteous customer service Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas and food handling equipment through proper sanitation and sanitation procedures Support food safety protocols by handling food properly, storing ingredients correctly, and following sanitation regulations Collaborate with dietary staff to ensure timely meal delivery and accommodate special dietary needs or restrictions Requirements Previous experience in nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is highly desirable Knowledge of food handling, preparation, sanitation, and safety standards Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy meal periods Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude toward residents and staff Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform cleaning duties as needed Join us in making a meaningful difference through nourishing meals and compassionate service!
