Overview Join our dynamic culinary team as a Line Cook and bring your passion for food to life! In this energetic role, you will be the backbone of our kitchen, preparing delicious dishes with precision and flair. Your culinary expertise will ensure every plate meets our high standards of quality and presentation, delighting our guests with every bite. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality. Assist in menu planning by suggesting new dishes and improvements based on customer feedback and seasonal ingredients. Handle food with care, following strict food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment. Perform food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients efficiently. Maintain proper food handling procedures during meal preparation, serving, and storage to ensure freshness and safety. Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food while maintaining presentation standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal service times and ensure smooth operation during busy hours. Skills Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within the food industry or restaurant setting. Strong knife skills with the ability to handle various cutting techniques safely and efficiently. Knowledge of dietary department practices or dietary aide experience is a plus for accommodating special dietary needs. Familiarity with menu planning, meal preparation, and food handling procedures. Excellent food safety awareness to prevent cross-contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations. Experience in catering or large-scale food service environments is advantageous.
