About Us:
The Hive Bar & Bistro is a fast-paced, high-energy kitchen known for creative dishes, weekly specials, and unique event menus. We're looking for a reliable and motivated line cook who's ready to grow with our team and contribute to an exciting culinary environment.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items according to Hive recipes and standards Assist with weekly specials and themed menus (including Taco Tuesday) Execute dishes outside of the standard menu for private events and special occasions Learn and follow all kitchen opening and closing procedures Set up and break down kitchen stations efficiently Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen at all times Assist with inventory counts and stock management Communicate clearly and effectively with kitchen staff during service Perform well in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Be available for occasional last-minute or emergency shifts
Qualifications:
Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred (but willing to train the right person) Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills Flexible schedule and reliable availability
