Duties Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and standards Assist in menu planning by preparing components for daily specials and regular offerings Handle food with care, following strict food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure quality and safety Cook a variety of menu items efficiently, maintaining consistency and presentation excellence Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food while maintaining quality control Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts Serve as a team player by assisting other kitchen staff during busy periods and ensuring smooth kitchen operations Experience Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly valued Hands-on kitchen experience in restaurants or the food industry is preferred Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation are essential for success in this role Knowledge of food handling procedures, food safety standards, and sanitation practices is required Experience with menu planning, food service, catering, and serving enhances your candidacy Familiarity with culinary techniques and cooking methods across various cuisines is advantageous Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail This position is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their culinary skills within a supportive team environment.
