Duties Prepare food items according to established recipes and quality standards to ensure consistency and freshness. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for order processing, sales transactions, and cash handling. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing inquiries promptly. Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance sales and improve the guest experience. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas, including food handling, bussing tables, and sanitation procedures. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality. Assist with food safety protocols, proper food storage, and adherence to health regulations to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers. Experience Previous experience in food preparation or working in a quick service or fast-food restaurant is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is a plus. Experience in the food industry or restaurant environment helps in understanding food handling, sanitation practices, and customer service expectations. Basic math skills are necessary for cash handling, retail math calculations, and managing transactions accurately. Strong time management skills are essential for multitasking during peak hours while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. Prior experience with cashiering or serving in a café or grocery store can be advantageous but is not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is key! $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
