Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team in the food industry. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for assisting with meal preparation and food production in a fast-paced restaurant or catering environment. If you have a passion for cooking and enjoy working in a team-oriented setting, we would love to hear from you.
Duties:
  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
  • Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients
  • Ensure proper food handling and storage procedures are followed
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely and efficient service
  • Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines
  • Operate kitchen equipment, such as grills, fryers, and ovens
  • Monitor food inventory and communicate any shortages or discrepancies
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Culinary training or certification is a plus
