Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cook to join our culinary team at our premier luxury assisted living community. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-quality food preparation, a commitment to exceptional hospitality, and a genuine passion for serving seniors with dignity and care. Our dining program is an essential part of our residents' lifestyle experience, and we are looking for a professional who takes pride in creating delicious, beautifully presented meals in a warm and welcoming environment. Position Summary The Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals in accordance with established menus, dietary guidelines, and hospitality standards. This role works closely with the culinary leadership team to ensure residents receive exceptional dining experiences every day. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook meals according to recipes, menus, and dietary requirements Ensure food is prepared and presented with excellent quality and consistency Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of kitchen and food prep areas Follow all food safety and infection control procedures Assist with menu preparation, special events, and resident dining functions Properly store food and monitor inventory levels Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and dining service team members Accommodate special dietary needs and resident preferences when required Maintain a professional, positive, and hospitality-focused attitude Qualifications Minimum 2 years of cooking experience in senior living, fine dining, hotel, healthcare, country club, or restaurant environments preferred Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards Ability to prepare a variety of cuisines and therapeutic diets Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards Team-oriented with excellent communication skills ServSafe Certification preferred Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays as needed What We Offer Competitive pay Comprehensive benefits package Paid time off Supportive and professional work environment Opportunities for growth and advancement The chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents Apply Today If you are passionate about culinary excellence and delivering outstanding dining experiences, we encourage you to apply and become part of our exceptional community.
