Duties Prepare ingredients and cook menu items with precision, ensuring quality and consistency in every dish Follow established recipes and plating standards to deliver visually appealing meals Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety protocols Assist in menu planning by suggesting seasonal or innovative dish ideas Handle food with care, practicing proper food handling techniques to prevent cross-contamination Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food efficiently and safely Serve dishes promptly and courteously to guests or front-of-house staff, ensuring excellent food service experience Requirements Proven experience in a kitchen environment, including restaurant or culinary industry roles Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation and cooking techniques Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Experience with meal preparation, food industry practices, and kitchen operations Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Familiarity with dietary department procedures and dietary aide experience is a plus Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors Embark on a culinary journey where your skills make a difference!
