Duties Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations to ensure food safety and efficiency Assist in menu planning by preparing daily specials or seasonal dishes as directed Handle food with care, following proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and high-quality meal presentation Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food while maintaining consistency Serve dishes promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times Experience Previous kitchen experience in a restaurant or food service environment is highly preferred Demonstrated culinary experience with strong knife skills and food preparation techniques Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices Experience in meal preparation, cooking, and food handling within the food industry Familiarity with dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential for success in this role
