Duties Prepare and cook authentic Venezuelan dishes, ensuring high-quality presentation and flavor consistency Assist in menu planning by suggesting traditional recipes and seasonal specials that highlight Venezuelan cuisine Handle food preparation tasks including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients with precision and care Maintain strict food safety standards, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and delivery during busy service hours Support catering events by preparing large quantities of traditional Venezuelan foods in accordance with health regulations Skills Proven experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide within food service settings Strong background in menu planning and culinary arts, especially with Venezuelan or Latin American cuisine Extensive food preparation and cooking skills, including knife techniques and meal assembly Previous restaurant or fine dining experience demonstrating excellent food handling and serving skills Knowledge of food safety practices and adherence to health standards in the kitchen environment Experience in catering or large-scale meal preparation is a plus Exceptional food industry knowledge with a focus on culinary creativity and presentation excellence
