The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in food preparation, ensuring that all meals are prepared to perfection and in accordance with our established standards. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations, utensils, and equipment. Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of any shortages. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, fryers, and other cooking tools. Follow proper food handling procedures to minimize waste and ensure quality. Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food safety practices. Qualifications Previous experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant or café setting is preferred. Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in the food industry. Familiarity with Clover POS systems or similar cash register systems is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Culinary education or certification is advantageous but not required. Must possess strong organizational skills and maintain a clean working environment.
