Responsibilities Prepare, season, and cook a variety of grilled items according to menu specifications and recipes Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and functioning properly Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure safe handling of all ingredients and finished dishes Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders while maintaining quality standards Monitor inventory levels of ingredients specific to grilling needs and communicate shortages promptly Support catering events or special functions by preparing large quantities of grilled foods as required Experience Previous experience working in a kitchen environment, preferably with dietary department or dietary aide background Proven skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling within the food industry or restaurant setting Familiarity with menu planning, meal preparation, and food safety regulations Experience in fine dining or catering environments is highly desirable Strong knife skills and proficiency in various cooking methods related to grilling are essential Knowledge of food service operations, kitchen workflows, and customer serving standards Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in food presentation and safety standards
