Duties Prepare and cook menu items with precision, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish Follow established recipes, portion controls, and food safety guidelines to maintain high standards Assist in menu planning by suggesting new ideas and seasonal specials to keep offerings fresh and exciting Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients efficiently Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to sanitation protocols at all times Support food service operations by coordinating with servers and ensuring timely delivery of orders Manage food handling responsibilities responsibly, including storage, rotation, and waste reduction Requirements Prior experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable Demonstrated culinary experience in a restaurant or food industry setting, including food preparation and cooking skills Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Experience with menu planning, catering, and serving is a plus Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaboration and learning Embark on a rewarding culinary journey with us!
