Breakfast Cook

Overview We are seeking a skilled and passionate breakfast Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in cafes or catering environments. As a breakfast Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality meal preparation and presentation, while adhering to food safety standards. This position requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in menu planning and development to enhance the dining experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work areas. Ensure proper food handling and storage practices are followed at all times. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed. Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment. Participate in catering events as required, providing excellent service to guests. Skills Proven experience in a culinary role, preferably within the restaurant or catering industry. Strong knife skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques. Familiarity with dietary department procedures and dietary aide responsibilities is a plus. Ability to plan menus that cater to diverse dietary needs while maintaining quality. Excellent food preparation skills with an emphasis on presentation and taste. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential. Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment. Must have experience in cooking breakfast staples minimum 2-3 years A passion for cooking, creativity in meal preparation, and commitment to excellence in food service. Pay:

$18.00 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
