In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes during designated shifts, ensuring every plate meets our standards of excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your kitchen expertise in a fast-paced environment while supporting the overall success of our culinary operations. Line Cooks report to the Executive Chef, Chef Garde Manger, and Banquet Chef. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items efficiently, adhering to recipes and presentation standards. Assist with menu planning and ingredient preparation to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Maintain food safety and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations. Handle food with care, demonstrating proper knife skills and food handling techniques. Support banquet and event meal preparations as needed. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner, maintaining quality and consistency throughout service. Collaborate with team members to uphold a positive kitchen environment and deliver excellent food service. Requirements Proven culinary experience, including food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly in a fine dining restaurant or Country Club kitchen. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures. Skilled in knife techniques, food industry standards, and kitchen equipment operation. Experience with menu planning and cooking for banquets and events. Ability to work efficiently during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Schedule The schedule for this position will primarily be from 9 am to 5 pm Wednesdays through Sundays. Occasional availability on Mondays is also required for outings. Holiday availability is also required. Work Environment This position requires standing, walking, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift. Work is performed indoors.
Pay:
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
