This role combines management expertise with hands-on food and beverage operations, ensuring smooth shift execution, accurate cash handling, and efficient food preparation. The ideal candidate will thrive in a lively hospitality setting, demonstrating strong leadership, culinary knowledge, and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences. As a key team leader, you will oversee daily operations, staff training, inventory control, and uphold food safety standards to maintain our reputation for quality and service excellence. Responsibilities Lead and supervise cashier staff, providing ongoing training in POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to ensure efficient transaction processing Oversee food preparation activities, ensuring adherence to recipes, portion control, and quality standards across all menu items Manage shift operations including staffing schedules, customer flow, and ensuring timely food service in a quick service or casual dining setting Handle cash management responsibilities with accuracy, including cash handling procedures and reconciliation at the end of each shift Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels, coordinating food orders, and minimizing waste while ensuring product freshness and availability Enforce food safety regulations and sanitation standards to guarantee a clean and safe environment for both staff and guests Train new team members on food handling, customer service protocols, kitchen procedures, and POS operation to foster a knowledgeable team environment Support restaurant management in budgeting efforts, cost control initiatives, and overall food service management to optimize operational efficiency Assist with supervising kitchen activities such as cooking, food production, catering events, banquet services, or bar operations when necessary Promote a positive team culture through effective communication, leadership in supervising experience roles, and encouraging professional development Experience Proven management experience within the food industry, preferably in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments Strong background in food preparation techniques including cooking skills relevant to diverse menus such as catering or fine dining settings Extensive experience with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for transactions and inventory tracking Demonstrated ability to handle cash accurately while managing shift responsibilities efficiently Prior supervisory experience involving staff training & development in hospitality or restaurant management roles Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures aligned with industry regulations Experience working in hotel or catering environments is advantageous but not required; hospitality management background is valued highly Join us to lead an energetic team dedicated to delivering outstanding customer experiences through excellent food service management!
