Duties Prepare and cook menu items with precision, following established recipes and presentation standards. Assist in menu planning to ensure variety, nutritional balance, and guest satisfaction. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all food handling and preparation processes. Support food preparation activities, including chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients efficiently. Help with food presentation and plating to ensure visually appealing dishes are served promptly. Collaborate with the team during catering events or special functions to deliver excellent service. Ensure kitchen cleanliness by properly cleaning utensils, equipment, and workstations after each shift. Experience Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable. Experience working in fine dining or restaurant environments is a plus. Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling safety protocols. Knowledge of menu planning, meal preparation, and catering operations. Skilled in knife handling, meal assembly, and maintaining high standards of food quality. Familiarity with the food industry's best practices for hygiene and safety regulations. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
