Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality. Manage multiple orders efficiently during busy service periods, maintaining high productivity without compromising food safety. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station, including proper food handling and sanitation practices. Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients to streamline service. Follow all safety procedures related to food handling, knife skills, and kitchen equipment operation. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders and excellent customer service. Support menu planning efforts by providing input on popular dishes and ingredient availability. Skills Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings, particularly in fast-paced environments. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques. Excellent knife skills with the ability to prepare ingredients efficiently and safely. Experience with meal preparation, catering, or fine dining is highly desirable. Familiarity with dietary department procedures and dietary aide experience is a plus. Ability to work quickly under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
