The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for seasonal offerings Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations Handle food items safely, ensuring proper storage and handling techniques are followed Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, communicating needs to management Participate in catering events as needed, providing exceptional service to guests Demonstrate excellent knife skills and cooking techniques while maintaining a focus on quality Requirements Proven experience in a culinary role, preferably within fine dining or restaurant settings Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food service operations Familiarity with dietary department practices or dietary aide experience is a plus Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations is essential Previous experience in menu planning and catering is highly desirable Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team A passion for the culinary arts with an eagerness to learn and grow within the food industry
