Part-Time, Flexible Hours About Us Kohi Gum is a fast-growing startup that makes caffeine-infused chewing gum designed for athletes, cyclists, students, and busy professionals. We manufacture our products locally and are looking for a reliable team member to help with production and packaging. Position Overview We're seeking a detail-oriented Production Assistant / Prep Cook to assist with food production, packaging, wrapping, labeling, and general kitchen operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in quality, and can work efficiently in a food production environment. Responsibilities Wrap and package gum products according to company standards Label finished products and prepare inventory for sale Assist with food preparation and ingredient measuring Maintain a clean and organized workspace Follow food safety and sanitation procedures Count inventory and help organize supplies Assist with shipping and order fulfillment as needed Support production team with various tasks throughout the day Qualifications Previous kitchen, prep cook, bakery, manufacturing, or packaging experience preferred but not required Ability to stand for extended periods Strong attention to detail Reliable transportation Positive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to lift up to 30 pounds Comfortable performing repetitive tasks while maintaining quality What We're Looking For Dependable and punctual Works well independently Takes pride in producing high-quality products Interested in being part of a growing local brand Can maintain consistent output without sacrificing quality Perks Flexible scheduling Small team environment Opportunity to grow with an expanding food startup Employee discounts on products Learn food manufacturing and startup operations firsthand
